Hello! I am a 40 year old queer and trans neurodivergent Deaf human looking for roommates. I'm thinking about going in on an apt like common or other coliving apt. I need my own private room but want to take the fuss out of trying to find an apt and have had very good experiences with coliving in the past. I am Disabled and have a sec 8 voucher which I can use in shared housing as long as there are seperate leases. I am new to NYC and would love to be in an area of the city that's really accessible and easy to get to places. I'll be participating in a few research studies mostly through columbia but probably Mount Siani too. The rest of my life is filled with dance and auditioning for dance opportunities. I really thrive in community so I love things like board game nights and dinners. I'm a really clean person and like to keep the common areas clean. I'm very much a late night person and mornings are tough for me due to chronic illnesses but I don't care what your schedule is. I'd ideally like to find like 3 or 4 roommates to go in on one apt so we have a house group rather than just a dynamic between 2 roommates. Oh due to a genetic lung disease I can't have any smoking at all around me. Everything else I'm pretty much fine including walk ups although I would prefer accessibility for the sake of folks in my community so they can also access the space. I have one other friend with an ESA cat that is interested in looking with me as well also in their 40s so we might be interested in a 30s 40s queer/trans house vibe.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,600 |
| Move in Date | Sep 2023 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 40 |
| Occupation | Medical Coding And Dance |
| Pets | No Pets |
| Hometown | Austin, Tx, Usa |
| Education | This And That |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Chelsea would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
