I'm Phil, I use he/him pronouns, I'm thirty-five, and I work on-site at a bookstore in Manhattan as a bookseller and digital marketing person. I currently live in Clinton Hill. I'm originally from Boston and I've been working at bookstores for most of my adult life. I would describe myself as queer, though it's a new label for me and I'm still very much feeling out what that means for me specifically. Happy to talk about it.

As a roommate I am clean, organized, communicative, and friendly. For me home is a place of rest and I don't often have visitors, but I have no issue with my roommates having people over. Bookselling is a pretty active job so a fair few of my evenings I spend relaxing at home reading or watching a movie. Outside of the apartment I love going to see movies at indie theaters, live music, and visiting friends. I also enjoy casually socializing with roommates. I don't have any pets but I love cats. I have a few small plants, and I'm hoping to get more someday soon. I cook a fair bit but I don't tend to have a huge amount of food sitting around. I don't smoke, I drink infrequently, and I'm only rarely coming or going late, but I'm not bothered if my roommates do.

I have a guarantor, a recommendation letter from my last landlord of several years, a letter of employment from my employer, paystubs, a 751 credit score, and bank statements if any of those are needed.

I'm able to move in on June 30th. I work Tuesday-Saturday, and I'm out of work between 7pm and 8pm and I can meet before or after I leave work on those days or any time on my days off.
