I'm moving to New York from California for grad school. I will be attending Sotheby's Institute of Art. I'll be out most days of the week (probably just the morning).

I'm looking for a female or AFAB nonbinary roommate between 25 and 35.

I'm a relatively quiet person who keeps to themselves, but I'm by no means antisocial. I enjoy a good conversation and would like to at least be friendly with my roommate instead of just quietly coexisting. I enjoy movies, reading, visiting art museums, making my own art, and cooking. I thrive with people who are artistic and creative like me. Although if you had different interests, it wouldn't deter me at all. I'm a cat person, but I also love dogs. I'm an animal lover in general. I enjoy listening to music, particularly on vinyl (I will be sure not to play it too loudly) and through my headphones. My morning ritual is usually me making breakfast and listening to music or a podcast, but don't hesitate to say, "good morning".

I would like to live with someone who is clean, but not a clean freak. I can keep shared spaces clean and clean up after myself. I'm someone who enjoys having people over and going out. I enjoy trying new places to eat. I'm a social drinker, but not a frequent one. I enjoy the nightlife, but I can also enjoy a night/day in. Since New York is new to me I know, I'll be wanting to explore it plenty (especially so I can get used to transportation).

Since I'll be in school, I will need some quiet, or at least not too loud.

I'd also like to live in a pro-LGBTQ+ and antiracist household.
