Hello! My name is Josef and I am a Filipino immigrant who grew up in Los Angeles. I will be graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in May 2023 with a degree in Business (Finance) and Film.

I’ll be working in a corporate role but plan to continue to pursue my creative interests. I am into music, reading/writing, filmmaking, and fashion.

I have a pet cat who will be turning a year old in March 2023 who acts more like a dog than a cat — they play fetch and enjoys cuddling.

Whenever I am in NYC, I enjoy eating out (my favourite places are Kikis, Golden Unicorn, Umi, Laoma Spicy, Antidote, BirriaLandia, and KUUN) and shopping (Tokio 7, About Glamour, and DSM). I also try to stay active by doing body work exercises and biking.

My working schedule will be through the weekday with 2 days being remote. During the weekdays, I anticipate staying in and watching a movie, reading, or playing videogames to past the time.

I prefer a roommate who enjoys cleanliness and practices good hygiene, who enjoys good communication, and can be fun to hang out with.
