Hi! I’m currently looking for either a roommate to fill our room by November 1st or a room in an apartment. I currently work in FiDi at an engineering firm (mostly working from home until next year though, so a WFH space is necessary...). I’m generally happy to pay up to $1750/month for a nice space, but would prefer to keep it under $1500.
I currently live in Prospect Heights - love the area and would love to stay close by, but am also open to move into Manhattan. Generally just looking for a clean, happy space!
I moved here from Canada in March and because of COVID, haven’t met too many people, so I would like to be friends with my roommates (not ones that do everything together, but the occasional dinner/chat/etc). I am pretty outgoing, I like to both cook and clean (not in an annoying way though), I’m also known to cave into takeout every so often and very much into sharing!
I don't have any pets, but I like them and I have no allergies! I like doing things like exploring the city, going to farmers markets and yoga classes on the weekends during non-corona times.

1 room available in 3 bedroom - Prospect Heights!
We have 1 room opening up in our apartment as our roommate is moving to Texas. It is a 3 bedroom apartment with 1 bathroom. We are currently month to month but looking for someone to sign into a year long renewal.
The rent is currently $1250/month but likely to be lower, depending on how negotiations with the landlord go.
The furniture in the pictured room is free, or can be removed if you would like. Note that there is not really sunlight that gets into this room, so if that is a dealbreaker, this will not work for you.
The location is great - on Dean Street, steps away from the Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal (Target!). You can get a train pretty much anywhere in the city within a block or two!
It is a second story walk up building. There is shared laundry in the basement and a rooftop.
You would be living with myself (25, working as an engineer) and my roommate Katie (28, works for an educational nonprofit). We are both friendly, tidy and communicative people!
