Looking for roommate — Arlington / Ballston — End Sept-ish / Oct. 1 move-in
yooo I’m 22, recently graduated from Stony Brook in New York and I’m starting a tech job in the area. I’m currently looking for someone to apartment hunt with for a 2 bed / preferably 2 bath starting around late September / October 1.
Areas: Ballston would probably be my first choice, but I’m also open to Rosslyn, Courthouse maybe, or somewhere nearby if the apartment/deal is good.
Budget: Ideally around $1,300–$1,500 each in rent, with some flexibility for a particularly good place. I’d rather not get into the $1,700–$2,000/person range if we can avoid it.
Apartment: Strong preference for a 2BR/2BA so we each have our own bathroom, but I’d def consider a 2BR/1BA for a good price. In-unit laundry would be great, and a rooftop would be wonderful, but we can see what makes sense.
One thing I specifically need is secure garage parking, since I have a car and motorcycle. Ideally I’d find a building that lets me keep both within one assigned parking space.
About me: I’m pretty clean and respectful of common spaces. I’ll be working a normal full-time schedule during the week. Outside of work, I love good food, traveling, music, I’m into the gym, volleyball/soccer, going out with friends, exploring and getting lost, and generally being active. I'm happy to be social and meet people but also down to do our thing at the crib.
