I am moving out of the country for a Fulbright Scholarship, and am hoping to sublet my current room during that time. I am leaving September 2026 and returning May 2027. My schedule, however, is flexible.
The room itself is small, but it does come with a substantial, private balcony (large enough to hold 3-4 people comfortably) and a shared bathroom right next door. The house also just received a new AC system, which has made the top floor very cool during these summer months.
The location of the house itself is terrific. It is about a block from the U St Metro station and very convenient for anyone hoping to access the restaurants and bars of U or 14th St.
I am more than happy to answer any questions that prospective tenants may have.
