Mary D - $1,300/month

Hi! I'm Mary and I'm looking for a roommate, preferably a woman around my age. My preferred neighborhoods are somewhere on the west side (West Village/Chelsea/Hell's Kitchen) or Murray Hill. I'm also interested in Woodside/Sunnyside/Astoria/LIC in Queens. (But I'm flexible, definitely don't have a must-have neighborhood). I'm not pressed for an immediate move-in date but I'd like to move sometime in the next couple of months. I have been very COVID-conscious and I'm fully vaccinated.

Right now, I work mostly from home as a social worker, but do have to go in person sometimes. Also, it might be important to mention that sometimes (usually ~1x/week) I do need to use the kitchen for my work and will have to basically do a zoom cooking class (don't be fooled though, I'm not a great cook). Other than that, I work a fairly regular 9-5 schedule (will be all in-person post-COVID).

I am pretty introverted. I'm a quiet person and a bit of a homebody, and I definitely like my own space, but I do like to go out and have friends over. I would like a roommate where we can be respectful of each other's schedules and also have room for fun :) I'm not an obsessively neat person, but I keep things tidy, and even if my own room gets messy, keeping the shared space clean will be a priority. I have a lot of furniture from my last place (couch, kitchen table, coffee table, etc.) so I'd be happy to furnish most of the place if you like what I have. Lastly, a dishwasher would be my dream come true, but if it's destined to just stay a dream that's okay lol
