Hi! I'm Grace, a 29-year-old writer and web designer. I own my own business and I am moving to NYC to attend a master's program at NYU's School of Journalism.

Some things I love: yoga, walking, hiking, cooking, traveling, listening to records. Most of my 20s were spent traveling abroad, and I'm excited to settle down in New York and find a community of interesting, kind and fun folks.

I would consider myself a respectful and easygoing person to live with. I have had MANY crazy living situations in my life and have learned that a) I really appreciate a tidy space (though I’m not a clean freak), and b) I love making a place feel like home with plants, art, good lighting, etc. Compatibility with a roommate is a high priority for me, even before location, and I am committed to doing my part to create a great living environment.

Since I’ll be in school full time, I’ll probably be out of the apartment during most weekdays. I am technically an introvert so I like to recharge on my own, but I am definitely looking forward to meeting new people and making friends. I would love to consider my roommates friends but know that that's just a matter of chemistry :).
