Hi. I am a native San Franciscan. I lived in New York City for 25 years until 2015, when I moved back to San Francisco for family reasons. I moved back to New York in September of last year, residing in a co-living apartment, which allowed me to extend my initial lease until I decide to stay in NYC or move elsewhere. I have decided to stay in NYC and am looking for a roommate share situation.
I also lived and studied for three years in Europe and went to graduate school in Washington. D.C.
I am a corporate communications executive and writer. My website, www.markegoebel.com, will give you a sense of what I’ve done during my career. My LinkedIn profile is https://www.linkedin.com/in/mark-goebel-275390/
I have traveled widely and enjoy experiencing other cultures. I studied international relations in graduate school at Johns Hopkins. I love reading about and discussing current affairs, history, economics, finance, philosophy, and various topics. I am a good conversationalist.
I get along with most people and am willing to compromise and understand another person’s perspective. I am neat but not compulsively so. When at home, I enjoy the quiet. I am very respectful of other people’s privacy.
I love reading, hiking, biking, and attending cultural events like theater, classical music, opera, and dance. I am a big sports fan, particularly San Francisco teams, and enjoy participatory sports like biking, skiing, and going to the gym.
I am easy to get along with, very easy-going, but responsible. I am financially secure and have a promising career.
I consider myself fun to be with and engaging, and I try to remember how my actions and words affect others.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,699 |
| Move in Date | Aug 2023 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 55 |
| Occupation | Corporate Communications Consultant |
| Pets | No Pets |
| Hometown | New York, Ny, Usa |

We think Mark would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
