Michael S - $1,500/month

My name is Mike and I'm 31 years old. I'm moving up to New York from DC, and I'm looking to find a place to live in short order (Oct 19th is preferred, but Nov 1st is fine) for long term. I'll be starting a job with Freedom House working as a Research Analyst. Mostly I'll be looking into democracy and governance issues in Russia, East Europe, Central Asia. It's a typical 9-5 job.

After work, I usually go to the gym, and then head home for a quiet evening in my room. I'm a bit of a recluse. In the last year, I think I've had a guest over maybe once. I prefer living in a place that isn't party central. I'm neat, but typically just adapt to how clean my roommates like things.

If I'm not at home, I'm probably out getting a drink with a friend or playing volleyball (a passion of mine). If I'm at home, I'll say hi and ask how your day was, but like I said above, I spend most of the time in my room reading, watching netflix, or playing video games. I do have a large board game collection though, which I'd be happy to play with you over a beer or glass of wine.
