I am looking for a roommate to fill a room in my 3 bed / 2 bath apartment in Brooklyn. I'm clean and quiet and like the same in a roommate. I love going to yoga classes and running (okay, actually I curse running every time I go, but I do it anyway). I'm vegetarian and I try to eat healthy most of the time, but occasionally I enjoy baking and sharing chocolate chip cookies. I love to read and spend time outdoors. The available bedroom is a large size with a big closet and huge sunny window. The apartment is beautiful, with tall ceilings and a balcony. The neighborhood is great with tons of restaurants, shops and bars, plus supermarkets, banks, gyms and anything else one needs to live.

Large Bedroom Available in Sunny South Slope Apartment
Room available in south Park Slope. The apartment is a beautiful 3 bedroom with 2 bathrooms, and a balcony off the living room. The room available is a large size bedroom with a huge sunny window and its own large closet. It's easily big enough for a queen or king size bed, plus dresser, bookshelves, desk, whatever. The bathroom is shared with one other roommate.
The common areas are fully furnished and the kitchen is newly remodeled and fully stocked, so anything you bring will have to fit in your room. I am looking for someone who can respect the fact that this is my home and I am renting out the room.
There is no smoking here. Of anything. Not even on the balcony. There are no parties either. I need this to be a quiet place where I can come home and relax, and escape from the noise and aggravation of the city. I am looking for someone who also likes a quiet house and who takes it easy when they are at home.
Also, I like to keep an impeccably clean home. Especially in the kitchen. We do our dishes after every meal, and don’t leave a mess for the next person. If anyone has ever commented on your cleanliness, you’ll probably do well here.
It will help if you are vegetarian, and you must be an avid recycler and generally friendly to the earth (but no incense or patchouli, please). You must be clean, quiet, and courteous. You MUST pay your rent and bills on time. The bills include gas & electric, and wireless internet.
Looking for someone in their 20's to 30's with a similar attitude.
About me: I have a crazy work schedule, so I need my home to be a quiet retreat at any hour of the day. I love yoga and reality TV (so if you think that's trite, keep it to yourself).
We’re one block from the subway, and walking distance to all of the great restaurants, bars and shopping in Park Slope, as well as Whole Foods, Prospect Park and the Barclays Center.
So, the rent is $1300, not including utilities. First, last and one month security are required to move in, as well as a copy of your ID and proof of income/employment.
