My roommate is moving back to her hometown 😭 so I am looking for an exceptional roommate to take her place. Instead of an open house, I would prefer to do tours on weekdays after 6:30pm and anytime after 10 am on the weekend.
We live in a unique, artsy building in cool neighborhood, one block from the train. 30 minute commute to Grand Central, G train also connects to the L, A/C, F, E, M & 7 trains so its very convenient and can get you to many parts of the city in a reasonable time. There are many awesome free amenities, including a full 24 hour gym with yoga room, movie screening room, bike storage and a roof deck with a great view of the city. There is a large laundry room on the main floor of the building.
The available bedroom has a view of Manhattan and can accommodate a full or queen sized bed, and has a closet. There is a large 6'-0" wide closet in the hall for additional storage, coats, etc... There is a large sleeper sofa in the living room (great for overnight guests or out of town visitors). Kitchen has a dishwasher and built in microwave. You will also have a full set of plates, pots and glassware for your own personal use (wine glasses included) as a courtesy 🙂.
The living room is treated like an extension of the bedroom, with a 50” flat screen smart tv (includes free Netflix, Hulu and HBO) since I have a TV in my bedroom.
I am looking for someone who will treat the space like their own, with love and care. Also someone who will add their own flair to the place (plants are welcome!)
There is also a dining table and chairs (not shown in the photos, sorry these are old) but I would be willing to change it with your input!
We have a 2 year lease which was renewed December 1st, so there will not be an increase until December 1st 2021, at which point the increase is about $65 per person at renewal (sweet) 😁
Utilities are not included in the rent, and can range between $150 and $170 per month per person.
That covers electricity, gas, renter's insurance and Verizon cable/internet.
