Carolyn W - $1,500/month

Hi! I'm Carolyn, I lived in Brooklyn from 2017-2023 and am moving back in March 2025. I have been in tech for the last seven years or so and am now in school for a career switch to nursing. I am currently looking for a job based in NYC which will likely be remote or hybrid, so I plan to work from home most of the time. I'll also be in school full time which will be online except for when I have labs.

In between school and work, I love walking outside with my dog and exploring the neighborhood as much as possible! I do spend a lot of time at home between work and school, so even if it's ten minutes I will try to get out of the house and spend some time outside. On the weekends I like to spend some time at home tidying up and then I am typically out with friends.

I don't drink, but I don't mind having alcohol in the house or being around people who do drink. I like to go out on the weekends but am typically home by midnight to get to bed. I do smoke weed occasionally, outside. I'm not interested in having a huge party house, but I definitely don't mind the occasional dinner party, game night, or holiday party.

In general, I like a clean, comfy space. I love my home to be a place to relax and recharge. Sometimes I'm a little introverted and might just hang out in my room, otherwise I have always had close relationships with my roommates and like to hang out if we're both around.

I have a well trained and very friendly dog, Winnie, who is good with cats and dogs. She's 26 pounds. Looking forward to getting to know you!
