I have a 2 bedroom apartment in Williamsburg Brooklyn. I travel for work extensively and am looking for someone to sublet while I'm on location working on a documentary project. My place is fully furnished and I used to put it up on Airbnb when I was away, however NYC's new super restrictive laws have made that impossible now. I'm currently looking for someone to enjoy my place from Feb-June. I'm currently scheduled to get back home June 2, however these projects have a way of extending, so it's possible I'll be out a little longer than that even.
Subletter could bring some of their own furnishings, kitchenware, lamps, etc, but probably not big pieces of furniture like sofas, tables, beds, vanities, entertainment consoles, etc.
All utilities are covered, 50% monthly rental deposit requested at time of key transfer. Subletter would have the entire place to themselves for this cost.
| Move in Date | Feb 2026 |
| Lease Duration | 3 Months |
| Age | 42 |
| Occupation | Documentary Producer |
| Hometown | New York, Ny, Usa |
| Education | Nyu |
We think Sean’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

This is a huge 1100 square foot 2-bedroom apartment with private back patio and shared back yard. It's a first floor unit in an 8 unit building. It's fully furnished and ready for move in. It's an old traditional "Railroad" apartment, meaning the rooms all connect one into the next, instead of all connecting via a hallway.
This apartment is just a few blocks away from great restaurants, shops and bars on Grand Ave, there's amazing coffee shops just steps away, and the neighborhood has every amenity you might need -- laundry, mail services, bodegas, all just one block away. It's also 2 blocks away from the best pizza in north Brooklyn (Williamsburg Pizza)!
We're 7 blocks from the L strain at both the Lorimer and Montrose stops, putting Manhattan and Bushwick just 2 stops away depending on which direction you want to go. We're also 5 blocks from the G & the J/M/Z trains, putting Greenpoint, LIC, Park Slope, and Lower Manhattan just 15 minutes away. It really is the most well connected part of Williamsburg.
About the Place:
Since this is our primary residence, it's fully set up and ready for you to live in, and all of our personal items have been put away so as you can enjoy the full space (minus the storage areas). The kitchen is fully stocked, there plenty of dishes, a spare bed if you want to have guests over, an office space, printer, linens and towels, record player + collection, a guitar in case you play, and we could even discuss you using our bikes if you'd like, though we may ask for an additional deposit or something for that -- we can discuss.
Bedroom has a queen size Casper Hybrid Memory foam mattress -- it's super comfortable. There's a good sized sectional sofa in the living room, 55" LED tv, Apple TV, pretty zippy internet, and great lighting throughout. The kitchen and front bedroom get a ton of light, the middle rooms less so.
About Us:
We live here full time, however my partner Mary and I both work in Documentary Television, and we often work long contracts on the road. Sometimes we can be gone for up to 6 months straight before returning home. Mary is about to be working in Indiana on a project until the end of August, and I'll be in Alaska until early June (as of now).
We used to put the place up on Airbnb when we were traveling, and we have a permit, however the city's laws are making it untenable now so we're looking for someone a little more long term just to cover the rent, since we sometimes have to pay for our own lodging to "work as a local" on some of these longer contracts.
