Hello! Looking for someone to move into the 2nd bedroom in my 2 bed, 2.5 bath townhouse in Irvington (Knott and 7th). You may have seen the price and thought “that seems like a lot for a single room” - let me tell ya about this room and why I think it’s a great deal!

The Room:
- The room has a private, attached, full bathroom. The room could be described as a master bedroom because of this. Having a private bathroom to yourself is a game changer.
- Bay window that looks over the cute street.
- Big closet
- Super soft carpet that’s easy to clean.
- You’re also welcome to paint the room whatever color you’d like, if you’re not into the very bold red that it comes with.

The House:
- Washer/Dryer/Dishwasher
- Attached garage that’s used for storage/exercising
- Big open kitchen/dining room/living room
- Gas fireplace
- Really cozy back yard with fire pit, fig tree, mint, cherry tree, and a couple beds for gardening.
- Keypad lock - no need to remember to bring your key with you or forgetting to lock the door.
- All the kitchen appliances you could want/need.
- Ridwell recycling

Other really nice things:
- Utilities! All utilities (internet, gas, electric, water, garbage, etc) are all included in the price, so you never have to worry about it.
- Landlord on site! I own the house and live in it, so if anything ever breaks I fix it right away!
- Rent stabilized - I’ll never raise your rent!

The Neighborhood:
- In Irvington - lovely neighborhood to walk/bike around
- Just down the block from Irving Park
- Short bike ride to Whole Foods/New Seasons
- Easy to get to Alberta, Mississippi, etc
- 1 block from the 6 bus and Wonder Ballroom

The roommates:
- My partner and I are in our 20’s. She’s in nursing school and I work from home for an education nonprofit. We both love outdoor activities, sports, crafts, movies, music, traveling, and host monthly game nights. We’re very clean and respectful of noise levels.

No pets, sorry! Ideally leaking for a single occupant that can sign a year lease, but open to discuss other options such as month-to-month as well.

January 1st move-in would be great, but also flexible with that.
