I am a Theatre and Performance PhD student, working mostly on the medieval and Renaissance periods. I love running and work part-time for a dog-running company in Brooklyn. I am also working towards getting certified as a dog trainer. That said, I have a dog of my own of course - a sweet but shy Jack Russell mix. I am also an enthusiastic indoor gardener and am trying to grow strawberries, chard, and kale in the kithen window.
I work from home a lot so I like to keep things fairly quiet. I occasionally have a friend over to study or have dinner, and I'm happy to have the occasional drink, dinner, or tea with my roommate!

The room is in a lovely, sunny apartment in the historic district of Prospect Lefferts Gardens - it is one of only two apartment buildings on the street, the rest are beautiful old houses. The room has two large windows, hardwood floors, and a fairly large closet. The shared space of the apartment is fully furnished and beautiful - lots of bright wood furniture, artwork on the walls, a comfy couch, and plants in the kitchen window.
The apartment is one block from Prospect Park and the B/Q and a fifteen minute walk from the 2/5. There is a laundromat right across the street and a plethora of cafes and restaurants in the area. The rent is $1200/month + internet and utilities. First month's rent and $1000 security deposit required upon move-in.
