Hiya! I'm Katie, and I'm looking for a roommate or two to search for an apartment together in Brooklyn.

My most important factor is that I have a dog - his name is Aspen, he's 5 years old, and he's a Westie. He loves to play and snuggle. My current roommates ask me to keep him cooped up in my room when I'm not home, but I need to give him more freedom than that! I'm not saying you *must* play with my dog, but I'm looking for someone who will want to :) He is great with cats if you have one. If you don't but you want one, let me know, because I do adoptions for a Brooklyn-based cat rescue.

My day job is for a music nonprofit in midtown, 9:30-5:30, plus the cat rescue, plus I play roller derby! So I'm often at practice or hitting the gym, and always down to try a new fitness class or at home workout. That said, I love food. My other passion is baking. A nice kitchen is a big priority. There will always be cookies, brownies, and "hey, do you want to taste this batter I'm working on?"

Basically, what I'm looking for in a roommate is a dog-friendly carb-eater who communicates well and mostly keeps the kitchen clean. Let's connect and talk about what you need :)
