I am a 33 year old woman who is a personal trainer and movement coach and I am currently working virtually out of my bedroom. I spend most of my time these days training and working out, going on long bike rides, teaching my new kitten to be the bomb, cooking, redecorating and scouring the internet for used home decor, watching/listening to anything about murder/crime and wondering what the f*%k is happening in the world. Good Vibes, Clean Space, Bedroom Available in 2br in Prime Crown Heights
I’m looking for a housemate interested in a sizable bedroom on a wonderful block in prime Crown Heights.
Starting date anytime between Oct 1 - Nov 1. $1200 + utilities.
About the bedroom:
- Room is 8” x 15’8”
- Two huge windows that get amazing sunlight throughout the day.
- Large Closet
- Beautiful mantle with kitschy faux fireplace heater
- Bedroom is on the opposite side of the apartment from my room.
- Room will be freshly painted.
About the apartment and neighborhood:
- Using this time to transform the space into my colorful little oasis. More painting to come! Good vibes and open to input of new housemate :)
- Block is mostly quiet and absolutely lovely. They won greenest block in Brooklyn last year!
- Laundry is 2 blocks away.
- Utilities include internet and electric - $70-100 each/month
- Amazing location: less that a mile to prospect park, 20 min walk to Brooklyn Museum, 3/4 Nostrand <5min walk, 2/5 at President 5min walk, 2/3/4/5 at Franklin Ave 12 min walk.
- Small shared area in front with table and chairs.
- Roof access (you just have to be okay with semi-shady ladders)
- I have a wonderful, cuddly kitten, so must like cats.
About you:
- You are ideally female identifying or queer and in your late 20s or 30s. I am open to living with a cis man if we vibe and you are open minded, queer friendly, and respectful.
- Financially responsible
- You enjoy living in a calm and clean home. You clean the common areas w/o having to be reminded, pick up household items if we’re low and are okay with sharing kitchen staples.
- You respect shared space/sound space
- Care about human beings and the environment, liberal and are a good person.
- Take this pandemic shit seriously, wear a mask when out and respect social distance practices.
One month rent (pro-rated depending on the start date) + one month security, signed roommate agreement.
