I am 24 years old and moving in from Illinois for an investments job in Manhattan. I am looking to keep all-in monthly expenses below $2000 in a place that is below a 40 min train commute from the financial district.

Some things about me: I wake up early/go to bed early; I cook pretty simple dishes every day; I like to exercise outside or in the gym during the evening; I keep the apartment generally clean and will not be too strict about it; I will be working from home on Mondays and Fridays; I am social and respectful in common areas; I hold myself accountable for paying on time and expect the same from you; etc.
