Hi! I’m Jackie and I’m a special ed teacher who’s lived in the city for over ten years now. I’m in search of a roommate to share a 2 bed apartment with in Astoria. I’ve lived there for about 4 years and I am looking for a new place post separation from a long-term partner.

I have a very sweet medium-sized emotional support dog named Papi. He is loves belly rubs and is crate-trained.

I’d love to foster a cozy and calm living space where both of us feel comfortable to get what we need out of the apartment. I typically keep to myself but I am always open to friendly vibes!

I prioritize cleanliness and open communication— it is so important that we both feel at home.

Ideally, we would meet first to see if we connect and then search for apartments together. I’m flexible on move-in dates but ideally I’d like to be settled in by October 1st.
