I'm a recent graduate who just landed my first career job in NYC. I will be working hybrid and WFH most days, going into the office in Manhattan from time to time. I have a lot of friends in the Brooklyn area and connections throughout NY.
I am an artist at heart and love the opportunity to have any extra space for creative work. I love museum visits, quality time with friends, cooking veggie meals, and a bath. I like home space to be peaceful and friendly, and love a hunt for cool vintage and antique furniture/clothes. I enjoy entertaining and having drinks with friends, but definitely prefer a routine that centers more busy social days around the weekend. I would like a roommate who tends to not bring the party home during the weekdays. Cleanliness is important to me, and I want my roommate to be someone equally invested in household responsibilities. I try to be low waste and use natural products when possible and would love a roommate that is oriented similarly. I am vegetarian but not opposed to living with someone who isn't.
Thoughtfulness and communication are key to me when living with someone. Living with a stranger is super daunting! I would love to find friendship and center our living around shared values and finding community. Potentially a tall order! I have lived with roommates for over 5 years.
I have a min-pin chihuahua (14lbs) who I would eventually like to have care of again. My mom will be caring for her as I settle but I do not think that is a long-term solution. She is an absolute sweet older dog (you wouldn't know it) who is going to take some adjusting to city life. I would only bring her in if that adjustment would be manageable for all.
Definitely interested in BK, most of my friends are in bushwick and bed-stuy, open to considering other areas. I prefer an older apt to the new builds (they feel a little soul-less!) Any green space nearby would be a major plus, rooftop and all that jazz.
| My maximum monthly budget | 1,300 |
| Move in Date | Aug 2022 |
| Lease Duration | 1 Year |
| Age | 22 |
| Occupation | Hr Compensation |
| Pets | Dog |
| Hometown | Charlotte, Nc, Usa |
| Education | Bs |
| Relationship Status | Single |
We think Keegan would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
