Elliot R - $2,500/month

My name is Elliot, I’m 31 and am from Westchester NY (the burbs). I graduated from University of Arizona. I’ve been living in Kips Bay going on 15 months, and unfortunately my sweet COVID deal is coming to an end so I need to move by the end of the month.

My new roommate (who I recently met through a mutual friend) and I are looking for a 3rd roommate to sign a new lease for a July 1st move-in. We are open to most areas of NYC (preferably Murray Hill, Kips Bay, Gramercy, Stuytown, Flatiron, Midtown East, Sutton Place, Lenox Hill, and Chelsea; no particular order). Each of our max budgets are up to 2,500 so we can be reasonably flexible for the right spot.

I work as a Director of Technology Recruiting at an agency in Herald Square. I’m fully in office with the occasional WFH. My work schedule is a standard 9-5 but I sometimes work later or go in earlier. The other roommate happens to also be a recruiter (he is 25 and from CT) with a very similar schedule and structure.

I without a doubt always pay rent/utilities on time and contribute to all required chores. I’m clean, respectful, mindful, and appreciative of people’s space. Rolling off my current lease, I have some furniture (bar cart included!), wall art, etc. to contribute.

I’m an extrovert, outgoing, personable and down to earth. I’m big into sports (Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Giants fan), hanging with friends, trying new restaurants, going to bars and concerts, working out, etc. I also enjoy playing basketball and skiing in the winter. I always make time to go out and have a good time, particularly on weekends.
