Hi!

I am looking for someone to join a lease takeover for my apartment in Bushwick. I have been living here for one year and loving it, so hoping to find a new roommate to sign a new lease with.

About the apartment: 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom with an open living area and spacious kitchen with new appliances. Around 900 square feet. Both rooms have a closet, tall windows which bring in a lot of natural light, and each tenant could have their own bathroom. Located in a prime neighborhood spot - right next to a 24-hour market, laundromat, lots of restaurants and bars, less than 1 minute walk to Maria Hernandez park, and 6 min walk to the L train at Jefferson St. Also walkable to the M train at Central Ave and the MJZ trains at Myrtle Ave.

About the lease: Start date 4/1/26 to 4/1/27. Rent is 1500 each per month. Utilities not included (varies per season, usually around 100 each per month and includes electric, heat, and wifi). Living room is unfurnished but I plan to furnish it unless someone has their own furniture they would like to bring! The room is also unfurnished. Proof of income (last 2 paystubs), bank statements, copy of ID and proof of credit score are required for consideration. Landlord is a nice dude but expects finances to be in check. No application fee. Guarantor not preferred but allowed. No pets allowed.

About me: 28-year-old female who works full time as a dietitian in acute care 5 days per week and occasional weekend shifts. I commute to Manhattan so I'm often out of the apartment during the week. On the weekends I like to sleep in and have slow mornings, cook meals, run errands, watch movies/read, go out to eat with friends/my partner and spend time outside when the weather is nice. I am a bit quiet but also friendly and approachable and communicate well. I like to keep my space clean and organized and stay on top of chores but am pretty lenient about this and would just ask that we share the workload for the shared spaces.
*Ideally looking for another female in her late 20s/30s who has a steady income and is quiet, chill, and respectful.
