Available Room for Rent

Looking for female roommate to take flex bed in luxury LIC apt!

Hi guys! :) My lease ends at the end of July and my roommate has decided to move back to Jersey, so I'm hoping to find a new, female roommate to renew a 1-yr lease with me starting August (but move-in date flexible).

A bit about the room / apartment:

Building: 2222 Jackson Ave
- luxury apt with doorman, elevator, gym, pool, laundry room on every floor, etc. (unfortunately amenities aren't open right now though)

Room: huge flex 1-bed with floor-to-ceiling windows - can fit queen bed + desk and more (see pics below). Unfortunately building won't allow temporary walls, but we have tall ass curtains and I will of course respect your privacy. My roommate is happy to leave the curtains + her closet when she moves out if you want it.

Rent: $1450/mo net (I negotiated 1 month free) or approx $1600/mo gross

Location: A block from the 7 and G trains and a short walk to the E/M trains (connected to the 7/G in a tunnel too)

Area: Really safe area, a lot of great restaurants of all diff cuisines nearby (especially if you love to seamless/uber eats like me), and easy access to Manhattan and Brooklyn

Pets: dog-friendly but please no cats as I'm allergic

No smokers please

Application: I need to let my building know if I'm renewing by the end of June, so will need to be fairly quick. You will need:

Government issued Photo ID

Employment letter

Last 4 pay stubs (proving your income is at least 40x rent)

Bank statements

2019/2018 tax returns

Past landlord reference letter

Security deposit

A bit about me:

26, female

Clean but not a neat freak

Down to chill, order food together, watch Netflix, play Animal Crossing, etc. or just do our own thing

I like reading, nature, animated movies, napping, snowboarding, corgis, and of course Animal Crossing

Please note: I am in a long-term relationship so my boyfriend will be sleeping over a few nights a week. But that also means that I'll be at his place a few nights a week, and you'll get the apt all to yourself :) You're obviously also welcome to have overnight guests, just lemme know.
