Huge walk in closet, w/d, roof and yard in our bk brownstone

Hey hey!!

Seeking someone great to fill out our beautiful Brooklyn brownstone with loads of perks, come June 1st!

THE ROOM:

The pics below should give you the full idea, but the bedroom is approximately 10’x8’ and has a HUGE walk in closet.  The room will be unfurnished so you’ll have tons of space to get crafty with since the closet itself can fit a dresser or 2 if you’d want to keep all that stuff in there.  The room faces the lovely backyard and it gets amazing light.

THE APT:

Our house is beautiful, in the bustling Bedstuy, close to South Williamsburg and Bushwick.  We have the first 2 floors of the 3-floor brownstone, as well as a HUGE double-wide backyard with a fire pit and grill, roof access with a great view, and a driveway in the event you need off-street parking.  There is also a basement if you need extra storage space (bikes in the winter).  It’s a 4-bedroom, 1.5 bathroom apartment with an open kitchen (with dishwasher) and very spacious living room.  Also, BONUS, there’s a complete laundry room with a washer and dryer in it!!

THE ROOMMATES:

A few girls and 1 guy.  We are a mix of both domestic and international, straight and queer folk, so we’re culturally open and LGBTQA friendly and expect that in a roommate too.  We are a mix of professional, creative, respectful people that have very different schedules, so when we do actually overlap in the house, it’s pretty chill.  That said, there haven’t been any conflicts getting in the shower or cooking at home, but we’re all courteous regardless.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Someone responsible, able to pay $1,190/month - month to month, but ideally someone looking for at least 6 months to a year.  You pay the bills on time (which generally range from $40-75pp, depending on season), and who is respectful of others in living situations. We’re totally cool with occasional get-togethers and guests at the house and backyard BBQs, but with a heads up so we’re in the know.  Clean up after yourself in common places, take the trash out when you find it full, chip in on commonly-used household goods (TP, dish soap, etc.), and every now and then help with a deep clean (or chip in on a cleaning crew if you prefer).  Common sense stuff, really.

Sorry, no pets and no *cigarette* smoking allowed – allergies.  And also, no hard drugs, if that doesn’t go without saying.
