Charleen C - $1,500/month

I currently have a one-bedroom apartment but I'm looking for a roommate mainly because I want to save on rent as I prepare to start applying to graduate programs.

Totally open to building a friendship with a roomie (ideal) but I'm also introverted so would love to live with someone who can respect my need for space.

IDEAL MOVE-IN DATE: APRIL 1 2023

Some basics about me:

- 📍I've lived in LA since 2017, originally from Oakland.

- 🐶 I have a dog, Stoakly. He is a 7-year-old pitbull, super friendly and trained well.

- 💻 I work remotely so I will be home a lot. I use headphones when in meetings and will set up my workspace in my bedroom. I also have access to an office in Marina Del Rey and can work from there if needed.

-🧘🏻‍♀️ I do yoga and work out regularly.

- 🥕🥑🍓 I mix between cooking at home and going out to eat (weekends). I generally eat pretty healthily, with organic options whenever possible but I am not extra about it. I don't eat meat often but I will have it maybe once a week.

- 🧼🧹 I'm pretty clean and am good at cleaning up after myself / keeping common areas tidy. I also clean Stoakly daily with dog wipes, particularly making sure his paws are clean after going on a walk.

- 📚📓💍 📺 When home and not working, I'm either reading, journaling, making jewelry, or binging Netflix.

-🌲 I like to go into nature as often as possible, hiking with Stoakly and camping in the summer are some of my favorite things to do.

- 💃🏻 🥂 I'm pretty focused on my goals at the moment but when I do step out I like to keep it classy. I don't usually host but I may bring home a friend. If I do then I will of course text my roomie a heads up.
