Hello! My name is Elijah(he/him) and I identify as a 27 year old half black, half japanese, gay, cis man. I am fully vaccinated!!

I’m currently living back home in Toronto and I’m looking for long-term accommodations in BK or the city starting Aug 1. I completed my undergrad in dance at Marymount Manhattan College but moved back home for a bit to figure things out. I was recently accepted to Pratt for their Arts & Cultural Management MPS and I’m looking for a place for at least a year. I have good Canadian credit, however, I do not have an American guarantor or credit score. I’ve rented 3 different nyc apartments and we’ve been able to sort something out!

As a roommate, I tend to keep to myself for the most part but I have my silly moments once you get to know me. I like to keep my space relatively clean, however, I don’t mind a little clutter here or there when times are hectic. I usually spend the night in participating in some 420 activities but I occasionally enjoy a night out. I love going for walks and exploring nyc. My guilty pleasure is Real Housewives.

Classes are on the weekend so I’ll be at the apartment for the most part at the beginning of the semester but I’m sure that will change. I don’t mind sharing and contributing to items around the apartment like toilet paper, olive oil, garbage bags, etc. It is unlikely that I will bring people over, and if I do, I will always give a heads up and make sure they are vaccinated. I can have someone look at an apartment on my behalf!
