Single room in an apartment at Revetment House in Jersey City, NJ, 3rd floor. The living room and kitchen are furnished and available for your use. The bedroom will not be furnished. If needed, you may get a permit for street parking through the city, as we are currently using the allotted parking space.

My boyfriend and I share the master bedroom. I work 9-5 weekdays and my boyfriend is in the process of finding a full-time job, so eventually once quarantine is over we will only really be in the apartment in the evenings and on weekends. We have a strong preference for those who clean up after themselves, especially in the kitchen as we both enjoy cooking regularly. We're both somewhat introverted, but very friendly people! Some of our hobbies include gaming (video and board games), reading, and rock climbing (indoor mostly). We're totally okay if you drink, but the building is smoke-free, so that is not allowed. LGBTQ+ friendly (of course!)

We've recently welcomed a 6 month-old male Shiba Inu puppy named "Gamja" (Korean for "potato") into our lives, so you would have to be okay with dogs. He tends to get along well with everyone he meets, but has a lot of puppy energy, which should dissipate as he gets older. We have the living room fenced off to keep him out of your space and you would bear no responsibility for taking care of him; consider it all the benefits of having access to a puppy without any of the work! Even though we keep the living room and our bedroom fenced off from the kitchen and the rest of the apartment, you should feel like you can access the living room and its amenities whenever you like.

The building is a 17-20 minute walk from the Newport PATH station. Ordinarily there is a shuttle bus that runs from our building to the PATH station with regularly scheduled stops in the morning and evening, but it has been suspended for the time being as a result of Covid.
