Room available in beautiful 2 bedroom, 2 balcony, 1 bath apartment ~

Hello everyone! Looking for a roommate for the 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment I live in in Ridgewood. Move-in is September 8th, but there is some flexibility if you need to move in earlier or later. One-year lease.

Rent: $1700/month | First month's rent + $1700 security deposit to move in. Water and internet are included in the rent. Electricity is split evenly (usually ranges from $40 to $130 each depending on the season).

*Apartment*: Has two rear-facing balconies (a large one off the smaller bedroom and a small one off the living room but in front of the windows of the larger bedroom), is one floor from the rooftop, and has a washer and dryer in the basement. The picture of the smaller balcony is exactly how it looks right now (will need to get new plants for fall!) Area + building are very quiet. No on-site parking but there is a bike rack on the first floor. There are a few other nice amenities like a water filter showerhead!

My current roommate and I moved in about a year ago and only came with bedroom furniture. All the furniture in the photos is mine and will stay! Needless to say, the apartment is still a bit of a work-in-progress decore-wise. The intended vibe can be viewed in one of the photos above. Definitely trying to create a space that would be good for hosting when people come over. :)

*About me*: Most of the work I do is outside the home and s o m e t i m e s I am gone a lot. In general, I’m pretty calm and chill… organized and clean. I value healthy communication. Like to read, workout (pilates, yoga… the specific activities ebb and flow), be creative, see shows, travel, etc.

*What I’m looking for in a roommate*:
Someone who is clean, tidy, takes shared responsibility for the apartment, and primarily works outside the home. Ideally I'd live with a person who notices when something needs attention and takes care of it—ie: refilling the soap dispenser, reaching out to the landlord about a repair, or taking care of small household tasks. I take care of almost all these tasks currently and would like to split the load. :) Also ideally! I'd like to have a friendly relationship with my roommate. We don't need to be besties, but being two passing ships that only send each other Splitwise notifications is a little too chilly for me.
- No pets.

*Transportation*: I usually take the L but the M is closer.
