Hello! I'm looking for a roommate to fill the second room in my 2BR in northern Park Slope, available October 1. I'm a marketing professional in my mid-thirties with a hybrid schedule and one friendly cat named Jack.

Some info about the room and apartment:

• Located on Carroll St. between 4th & 5th Avenues
• 3rd-floor apartment in a quiet, 3-unit brownstone-style building
• Easy 5-minute walk to the Union St. R train or ~15-minute walk to Atlantic Ave/Barclays Center
• Spacious 11x12 bedroom
• Shared living room, separate dining room, kitchen, and bathroom with a tub
• Cats welcome
• No dishwasher or laundry in the building (there's a laundromat half a block away, and we have a reliable pickup/drop-off service), but the apartment is well maintained, comfortable, and has lots of character
• Rent is below market for the area. I've lived here for several years and have a warm relationship with the landlord, which has helped keep the rent low.
• Heat & water included; Wi-Fi, gas, and electric are additional
• First month's rent, last month's rent, and security deposit required upon move-in
• Looking to sign a 1-year lease

I'm hoping to find another professional who is considerate, communicative, and reasonably tidy. I enjoy having a friendly relationship with the person I live with and occasionally chatting or hanging out at home, while also very much respecting each other's space and independence. LGBTQ+ friendly is a must.
