hello! I have a lot of experience living with roommates and greatly enjoy living in community.

I best thrive being friendly or friends with my roommates, but for shorter term stays I am more flexible.

more about my living rhythms:
- I'm a night owl. I'm often in my room late at night working on various creative projects or reading; I'll sleep around 2am and wake around 10am.
- I'm an extroverted introvert. I enjoy parallel solitude in shared spaces, reading and whatnot. I like to chitchat and hear what's going on with my roommate's lives.
- I also love liveliness. I don't mind (and enjoy!) folks coming over, crashing on couches, mingling in shared spaces, noise, etc. An extremely isolated and quiet house is far less fun for me.
- I love cooking! and I enjoy feeding my roommates, and whoever else happens to be over.
- I'm generally a low-impact roommate. it's important to me to keep shared spaces like the kitchen usable for everyone, and I'll adjust a bit up or down to fit the norm.
- I'm a direct communicator. I like to address any conflict while it's just a pinch. and, in my experience, a solid relational foundation smooths out most conflict anyway!
- I work from home M and F, and go to an office TWTh.

and about me more generally:
- I've lived in Oakland/SF for the last few years. in Oakland, I've been involved in video art, house dancing, and organizing. I also run a mutual aid / bodywork skillshare / healing justice collective in Oakland.
- I often dabble in various creative projects. right now it's making music videos. in the last year, I was getting into music production.
- my favorite artists right now are: abbas kiarostami, ben lerner, pharoah sanders, smerz
- I work in climate tech (I feel conflicted about it), which I came to through habitat restoration
