About Me

So my close friends would describe me as an asshole with a heart of gold. The asshole portion is more so due to my ADHD, and thus there are times I won't have a filter, but things I say are never meant maliciously. Its more I give off an asshole bravado, but in truth if someone is in need I will give them the shirt off my back and do anything I can to make them feel better.
Because of that by my very nature, when cognizant I am always going to take others feelings into account.

In truth its why I love to cook and bake for others. I know I should of led with that, when describing myself looking for a roommate, but I think its better to get my biggest flaw out of the way before trying to sell myself as a roommate. Add to that I know you are going to ask, what type of food do I cook, and I will simply say I am a great pantry cook of using what's in front of me to make something delicious.

In terms of my interests I first need to point out I am gay, but what type of gay you may ask?
I would say I am a Theater gay, Disney Gay, but also an Outdoorsy gay.

Being a theater gay is semi-self explanatory, I enjoy the theater and in college I saw over 100 different Broadway performances. Now that I am an adult with actual expenses I still try to get to see a show hopefully once a month, and do stay up to date on the theater scene as best as possible.

So in terms of being a Disney gay, I will say I am not as in your face as many Disney Adults. Instead I simply love going to Walt Disney World and have enjoyed going since I was a kid. Its more of an interest for me than an outward facing obsession. You might simply just have to listen to me occasionally talk about some random Disney parks news. On the plus side I do own a week of timeshare right outside the Disney Gates in Lake Buena Vista, so if we do happen to get along, you might be able to join me on my annual pilgrimage.

Now being an outdoorsy gay, is I guess seems oxymoronic compared to the prior two. Exploring and being the outdoors though has always been a passion of mine. I love to go on hikes, ski, have gone white water rafting, and cliff face rock climbing on multiple occasions. There's something simply so calming about just taking in and exploring nature. I also know that being in NYC does not always allow for those experiences, but I am part of New York's LGBT Outdoors group. I also have a car, so I can drive outside the city to experience the great outdoors.

Other interests of mine are movies, puzzles (what can I say I am an analyst) who likes to problem solve.

I am also weirdly handy with crafting and other home improvement type projects. I would say this is likely do to my ADHD, and as such I can honestly become interested in anything at least for a short while.

Lastly as I work in publishing, I do have access to a literal library of books if that interests you.
