Hi there! My name is Joanna, I'm a born and raised California girl and spent my childhood hiking, biking, camping, and road tripping the west coast. I love to bake and I can make a bomb homemade chocolate chip cookie, banana pudding, or lemon meringue pie. I come from a big family so I am comfortable around different personalities and lifestyles.
I earned Associates Degrees in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising and my Bachelors Degree in Fashion Design. I worked in the fashion industry for 7 years in Los Angeles and I love to travel and spend time exploring new places for inspiration. When Covid-19 hit L.A., the fashion industry suffered pretty hard so I joined the Army and have spent the last few years on Active Duty and deployed to the Middle East where I got to see 6 countries in 10 months. I'm out of the Army now and pursuing my Master's Degree in Business Management from Parson's School of Design in NYC, and getting my foot back in the door of the fashion industry.

I try to keep my space pretty tidy but I'm not a neat freak. My time is split between school and work, but I also love to check out cool spots in the neighborhood, travel when I can, and try new recipes. I have a long distance boyfriend who might stay a night or two once in a while if that's ok with the roommate(s) but he lives and works near D.C. so we are flexible and I can go visit him as well.
