I work as an attorney. I'm out most of the day and when I get home I just want to collapse. I'm seeking a roommate who understands if I'm not up for chatting/hanging out regularly, though I'm not a complete recluse. If it matters, my favorite genre of music is showtunes, but don't worry, I keep the volume down.

We think Tracy’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

We're two women in our 30's in a three-bedroom apartment with 1.5 bathrooms looking for a roommate to take the third bedroom ASAP. We renewed the lease on July 1 2020 so you would be added to the lease for the remainder of the one-year term.
The apartment's about a 10 minute walk from the last stop on the N/W (so you'll always get a seat in the morning). It's also off the Q101, Q100, and Q69 if that's your preferred method of transportation. It's a 2-floor walk-up (we're on the third floor) and has a small balcony which is great for relaxing on in the summer.
Julie has a sweet border collie named Ginny who is impossible not to love! We share the cost of electricity and wifi which comes out to roughly $50/$40 per month per person, respectively.
The apartment is located near two parks, several grocery stores, the famous Brooklyn Bagels, a myriad of fabulous Italian and Greek restaurants, and a killer yoga studio near the train if that's your thing. Laundromat is around the corner. The area is pretty quiet and the neighbors are friendly. I (Tracy) work a lot and come home primarily to hibernate in my room, though I do occasionally hang in the living room, so if you come home and I'm there or visa versa, we might have to, like, interact. Which I'm totally cool with. Julie is a graduate student and adjunct professor at two colleges, so she will be working from home (read: her bedroom) through at least January 2021.
The application fee is $150. There is a one-month security deposit due upon signing the lease.
