hi! :) my name is lottie and i’ve been living in nyc for almost a year. i’m an ex-muralist who moved here from austin tx last summer. i currently work full time as a nanny, and work from home for a publishing company part time. i also run my own online shop where i sell my art!

i’m lgbt (nonbinary high femme lesbian!!) and would love to potentially room with somebody queer as well! some of my favorite things to do include painting, sewing, writing scripts, gardening, making zines, drinking tea, and photography! i also do a LOT of baking and cooking, and more often than not will always have leftovers! i love sharing so as long as our dietary preferences match up, there will almost certainly always be something around to eat! :)

i consider myself a very neat person, and actually rather enjoy the act of cleaning! my room can get a little messy sometimes, but i will always do my best to keep communal spaces clear and clean. i’ll usually have guests over a couple times per month, sometimes my girlfriend likes to stay over on weekends but we always keep to ourselves. i currently live in harlem, but my lease will be ending in june. i’m looking to move in with someone any time from now until august, preferably in the upper manhattan area but i am flexible between any other parts of manhattan + the bronx!

i’ve had a hellish year with my current roommates, and am really looking for a healthier relationship with the next set of people i live with. we don’t have to be the bestest of friends, but basic communication and mutual respect is really really important to me! just don’t slip any nair into my shampoo and we’ll be a-okay. i’m also a little bit of a health/safety freak, especially with covid still being a thing. so while i don’t expect anyone to follow the same protocols as myself (i mask in all public spaces & get tested frequently!), i’d just like to put out there that it is something important to me :)
