Hi, I am Katherine (also go by Katie)! Originally from Texas but living in the midwest. Just visited new york and had such a good time i want to move there! Currently don’t live with any roommates but have had a variety of roommates in Memphis and Knoxville where I was for college and grad school.

My friends would describe me as excited, talkative and opinionated. Al of these things are true but I am absolutely respectful of others beliefs and live having intellectual discussions on social, political, and ethical topics.

I am generally more extraverted and social and like hosting. I like to go out and do things like dance, go to museums, go to bars, play board games etc. Don’t identify as a party girl but love to dance and go to shows/concerts/clubs. Even though I love to be social, I also need my alone time sometimes too. While sometimes I’ll be out all night, other times I’m in bed watching Netflix all day. Just depends on my mood. Also 420 friendly & LGBTQ+ friendly.

In terms of cleanliness, I can be messy in my own spaces try to keep the common place clean and uncluttered. Dishes are my nemesis but I also don’t have a dishwasher right now so that’s something I’m looking for in an apartment. I will be working from home so and I found that I work better when my space isn’t super messy so that definitely helps!

I generally do my own thing and am cool with others who do their own thing as well but I'd like to find someone who would explore with me sometimes! I have a few friends in New York already but would love if I could have a my roommate who I could be social with. That being said, there's no expectations for us to hang out all the time or be best friends!

I have a cat named squeaker. He’s 3 years old and loves food, getting pet and the laser pointer. I'm not sure if I'll bring him to NYC initially, want to make sure that whosoever I live with is good with it first. If you have animals, I am good with pretty much all animals as long as they aren't loud.

Looking for female roommate (but open to a male roommate if we have good fit) with 6 months to 1 year commitment.

My lease is up end of may but I’ll be traveling around and working remotely June and July so I'd be looking for something early or mid august.
