Looking for a housemate in a beautiful townhouse in SW Portland conveniently located just down the hill from OHSU & the VA hospital, as well as minutes from downtown. It is walkable to several restaurants and Willamette Park.
The room available is currently in use as an office/guest room; it has a queen murphy bed, and office furniture. Would have the landlord remove the furniture per request of new occupant. It has a good size walk-in closet and private bathroom with a bathtub. There is space in the garage for some storage or bike/scooter/motorcycle parking. Car parking is on the street.
A little about me….39 (she/her), work in healthcare, and work from home most of the time. I’m pretty laid back and quiet. For fun, I enjoy hanging out with my pup, getting out in nature, riding motorcycle, and traveling. I value a calm, clean living space. I’ve had roommates in the past and very much enjoyed sharing meals or watching movies together every once in a while.
Pets…I have one super cool, calm, cuddly 7-year-old dog. I’m good with adding another dog to the mix (of course we’d have to do a meet/greet to make sure any additions are a good fit). The landlord would also need to approve additional pets. No cats for us though, I’m allergic, and my dog is terrified of them.
The current lease is up at the end of January, and rent on the new lease is $2,700/month. Housemate split of the rent would be $1,150 plus ½ of utilities. Deposit equal to one month’s rent.
Applications would need to be submitted through the rental agency for approval.
