I'm a 30 y/o former professional sportswriter and classically trained line cook now working in management for a local ghost kitchen facility while I work on getting my own business off the ground. Food is unquestionably my biggest passion and I frequently cook far too much of it, so there will often be tasty leftovers up for grabs in the fridge. Still a big sports fan even though I'm no longer covering them professionally, but admittedly a bit of a nerd too. Other hobbies include home brewing beer, biking, yoga, and sometimes video games. Music lover (mostly punk, but I dabble in everything) too, although devoid of any playing talent. I have two goofy cats whom I love dearly. Prefer to maintain a fairly neat and quiet home but things happen and I try to be very understanding about that. Everyone's human, including myself.

My current roommate told me on short notice that she is taking an opportunity to move in with family when our lease is up in January. I'm very happy in this location and would very much like to stay. Need to give the apartment office an answer on renewing the lease soon, so I'm looking to move as fast as possible here, though move-in wouldn't be for a few weeks. I have the common areas pretty well furnished (though certainly willing to switch things up to your liking), so you would mostly just have to worry about your bedroom and bathroom.
