Hey there! I'm Julia, and I'm moving BACK to NYC in August 2027 (NYC and I have a looong history!)

As a roomate, I clean whatever spaces I used right after I'm done, or while I cook. On very rare occasion, I may leave a rinsed dish in the sink. (I don't care if you do this too, on occasion). I try to cook most of my meals, and rarely get fancy or hog up the kitchen, (I wish I had that kind of skill!) I do make coffee in pour overs most mornings :) I hate bugs, so I make sure I do a deep clean/spray to deter insects routinely.

I typically go to bed pretty early: anywhere from 9-10. I wake up pretty early, say 6 am. Although I'm an early bird, I do not care at all if you're up late, and in the mornings, I am considerate of the noise levels that I contribute to.

In the past, my relationships with my past roomates have ranged from being friends and having movie nights together at home, hosting together, going out together, to, being friendly at home, and catch up for 10-15 minutes, but ultimately go on with our own lives outside of the apartment. Ultimately, I am looking for the latter at least, but I would be sooo happy to be friends!

When it comes to hard conversations, I like to get them over with and come from a place of respect and gentleness. I don't do well with agressiveness or rudeness, but I do prefer to nip miscommunications quickly.

A little about me personally: I am from California, went to school in New York, started my career in New York, and am now doing a bit of traveling physical therapy. I like all kinds of music, but I grew up with singer/songwriter/folk/classic rock. My politics are left. I'm bi. I spend my free time in New York running, going to cafes, reading, or hanging out with pals at wine bars. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, and traveling!
