Alejandra A - $3,000/month

My name's Alejandra but my friends call me Ale. I was born and raised in Miami, FL and am half Mexican and half Cuban.

I currently live in a studio in the Financial District, but my rent renewal offer was a $1000 increase for next year so I am seeing what my other options are…I currently work in investment management and my office is a short walk (~15 min) from my current apartment so I was hoping to stay within walking distance but if not close enough to work.

At the end of my current lease, I’ll be living in NYC for a year. I am 28 and some of my interests include sports (watching and playing), working out, being active in general, reading, walking aimlessly around the city and trying new restaurants. I am looking for a roommate who has friends of their own but is open to being friends as well.

Monday - Friday I keep it pretty low key. I wake up early to work out and work. On the weekends I love going out, but as I am getting older I do appreciate peace and quiet. I am very clean and organized and would expect the same from my potential roommate. The ideal situation would be to see if we could find a 2 bed 2 bath apartment, and was hoping to stay around the ~$2600 range each (if not lower) but I definitely know this is a rare find.
