I'm an architect originally from New Orleans - translation - I'm very organized and I like to keep my spaces clean, but also very hospitable and enjoy having people over and cooking, drinking, or hanging out. I came to this city to meet amazing people, and have had great relationships with my roommates in the past. I've never been terribly interested in having a strict separation between myself and people I live with. Obviously certain boundaries are key, but I enjoy spending time with roommates and am happy to cook for others and share resources. The ideal roommate would share this sentiment. I tend to keep things relatively low key during the week but enjoy going out and exploring the city on the weekends. I'm passionate about travel, and enjoy snowboarding, scuba diving, playing tennis, and have been trying to get into sailing.

This 2 bedroom 1 bath is truly one of the best apartments I have seen since moving to NYC two years ago. The giant living room and connected kitchen has windows facing Manhattan, and the two bedrooms both easily fit queen beds, desks and dressers, plus each has it's own closet. The unit also features an in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. On the top floor of the building there is a gym and a roof deck.
From this location you are a literal stones throw from the prospect avenue station of the R line and a short walk to the F and F lines on 9th street. This variety makes it east to get to the apartment even when there is work being done. I work in Manhattan near Bryant Park and am able to get to work in 30-45 minutes depending on transfers.
