Looking for a roommate in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Jersey City / Hoboken - New York

Harsh D - $1,600/month

About Me

Hey! I’m Harsh, a graduate student at Syracuse University moving to NYC this summer to wrap up my master's in computer engineering. I’m naturally curious, love a good DIY project, and am a big fan of logical, straightforward communication. I’m moving to the city for city life, currently working in market research and AI automation, so on weekdays I’ll likely be locked into my laptop.

The Roommate Vibe
I'm pretty easygoing and open-minded. Here's a bit about how I live day-to-day:

Clean and organized: I like keeping shared spaces tidy and functional, but I'm not uptight about it. Just the basics: clean up after yourself and be considerate, and we'll get along great.

Out and about: I love walking around and exploring the city. It's how I unwind, clear my head, and figure out a new neighborhood. Just someone who'd rather walk somewhere than take the train when the weather's nice.

In the kitchen: I'm vegetarian and cook often, but nothing fancy, mostly simple, repetitive meals I can stock up on. Happy to share, swap tips, and respect each other's fridge space.

Hobbies: Big into thrifting and DIY projects, always poking around for a good find or tinkering with something. Music-wise I lean rock and alt: Twenty One Pilots, Linkin Park, Green Day, Queen, System of a Down, and Metallica.

What I'm Looking For?
Honestly, just a friendly place with good people. I'm happy doing my own thing during the week, but I genuinely enjoy a kitchen catch-up or a casual weekend hang when the timing's right. I've lived with roommates before and learned that the little things like paying bills on time, being considerate, and communicating openly go a long way. I'm easy to live with and hoping to find folks who feel the same.
