Originally I'm from Massachusetts, but I came to NYC for law school and never left. When I'm not working my day job as an attorney, I write and occasionally work as a television extra. I am a huge bookworm and theater nerd, and I love cake (The Hungarian Pastry Shop is easily my favorite place in this neighborhood). Some of my favorite tv shows include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Great British Bake Off, and my all time favorite movie is The Grand Budapest Hotel. I'm easy-going and quiet, and while I don't have a pet currently, I love animals and would gladly welcome a dog, bird, fish, rabbit, etc. (I am allergic to cats, unfortunately).
Other things:
In ordinary, non-COVID times, I work 9 to 6. I often use my evenings to write, but I don't mind noise/visitors/tv while I'm doing that as long as it's not anything too crazy.
Once in a while, I'll host a few people for dinner or for a writing group, but most of my socializing happens outside the apartment. I can give you advanced notice of those, they really don't happen that often.
I'm an early-ish riser (around 7 AM or so) and I usually go to bed around midnight. The beauty of this apartment is that we each have our own bathroom, so there's no need to worry about conflicting wash-up schedules.
I don't mind overnight visitors at all as long as there is at least 24 hours notice.

This apartment is a spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom (with bathtub and shower), and a duplex (meaning we have two floors) with bedrooms and one bathroom on the second floor. We have a dishwasher in unit and laundry in the building. The building is a well-maintained walk-up with hard-wood floors and big closets. Kitchen has newer finishes, including granite countertops and a gas stove. Gristedes, Westside Market, H-Mart, Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods are all within a short walking distance, and the closest train (a 1 local) is right around the corner.
