I am a 30-yr old who is finally ready to fly the coop and move out into NYC/Brooklyn.
I previously worked in media but am now shifting my career focus to administrative work in a college/educational setting or even a medical office. I am both outgoing and introverted...I like going out to bars and restaurants and having fun with friends, but also love staying in and watching a great TV show or movie! Honestly, that is way more likely. I guess I am what people might call a "creative, " though I don't really think of myself as that at all...I am very lax with my creative ambitions. Currently, I audition for voiceover work, and so I miiiight need some quiet while I am auditioning or doing a job, but that isn't crazy often so I don't think it would be an issue. In the past I have done improv and sketch comedy and have taken some acting classes, however, I'm not really in that world anymore aside from the voiceovers and I don't know if I will get back involved any time soon.

I'm not a good cook, so I would love to take some cooking classes so that I can cook for us! I'm also interested in taking dance exercise classes, so long as they are for beginners!

I appreciate a clean living space, mutual respect, and a fair split of responsibilities. I would also love a roommate who likes to hang out and do activities together! I am a casual drinker during social occasions and the occasional glass of wine! I currently do not smoke weed, however am not opposed to a roommate who does. A Cigarette smoker, however, would not be something I am looking for.

I am a big advocate for mental health and mental health treatment, so I am looking for an understanding roommate.

I have a 2 nephews who I adore.

Aaaand that's about all I can think of at the moment. I look forward to finding a great roommate and living in a comfortable, affordable, and *hopefully* centrally located space.
