I'm currently finishing my masters in fiction writing at the University of Missouri-Kansas City before starting my career in journalism and content creation in New York. Originally from Memphis, TN, I've bartended for the majority of my life and though I am sober myself, I'm still mostly a night owl.

I work as a freelance writer at several magazines and work from home a fair amount. I'm looking to get more into music journalism and attend a lot of concerts and shows. I'm mostly into hardcore, indie rock, and emo music.

I own two cats, a two-year-old who very much thinks he's still a kitten named Moscato who's two, & a rescue cat named Pesto who's somewhere around six. I'm an attentive cat mom and clean their litterboxes every day. I also own about three dozen plants. But most of them are small.

My style of home is cozy & bohemian. I like to keep my space very clean and organized, and I love to decorate from a variety of thrift stores and vintage shops.
