I am a teacher moving to New York in Aug., 2021 from Nova Scotia, Canada. I am looking for a furnished room in Brooklyn, Manhattan, the Bronx, or Queens, that is close to the 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, J or Z trains (ideally); my school is in the Manhattan financial district. I am a non-smoker, no pets, fairly clean, especially with shared spaces, and will be fully vaccinated as of August. I will have a long-distance partner who may visit if the Canada-US borders open up, possibly around Christmas or Spring Break. I will be an early-riser, sometimes burning the candle at both ends, but always quiet. I am looking forward to exploring the city and getting to know my new neighbourhood, especially the small, local restaurants. I cook occasionally (when I’m not too busy with work), I like to cross stitch and visit parks, libraries, and museums.
