Hello potential roommates! My name is Ryan Schwartz and I currently live on Long Island with my folks. I finished getting my MA in philosophy last May, and am looking to move in to NYC in late August or September -- preferably somewhere within 30-45 minutes of 51st street between 5th and 6th by subway. Perhaps the most important thing for me to mention in terms of compatibility is that I am sober, and am looking for a roommate who is either also sober or for whom drugs and alcohol do not feature as a major part of their lives. In terms of my personality, I have a high degree of intellectual curiosity, but I also like to take off my thinking cap and have some good old fashioned fun. I especially enjoy good food and music, which is one reason why I know I'm moving to the right city! I'm clean, respectful, responsible, and genuinely care about others.
