Dalitso B - $1,000/month

Hi! My name is Dalitso, I am junior at City College studying computer engineering and I will be starting my first semester there this fall. I am originally from Malawi but I live in Botswana with my family. I am an "international student" but I have lived in Massachusetts for the past 6 years, a little town called Amherst. My hobbies include watching anime, photography, and soccer. Also down to explore the city as this will be my first time living in NYC! I am generally clean and like to keep a clean place but I am not obsessive. I usually cook from home and most of the time I will be studying or doing homework with school in session. Not to worry, I am social and love to get to know my roommates. I am naturally introverted but I am trying to be more extroverted and know more people hence moving to the city but I am also totally okay with everyone keeping to themselves. I also have a lovely girlfriend who would sleep over most weekends so hopefully that would not be an issue. I do not smoke or drink but I am okay with my roommates doing that so long as they respect my space and it is not too frequent nor in the house (for smoking). Would prefer something that does not require a security deposit or fees as I will be flying in from another country and the air ticket alone is worth a month's rent! Also adjusting to a new city with nothing but an air mattress will incur expenses that I would like to minimize. A month-to-month situation or nonsecurity but long-term would be ideal. something close to city college would also be great.
