I'm a generous, big-hearted, funny and thoughtful roommate and want to be warm and friendly with the people I'm living with, even if we're not best friends. I live for dance, music, the arts, and enjoy social media, thrifting, and exploring the city. I occasionally go to clubs and have friends across the city. I graduated last year from Hunter College and hope to pursue a career in the arts but am currently working 30+ hours a week in luxury fashion retail to make ends meet. I go to dance classes in the city as often as I can. I am dating someone who lives in Italy, so I will be traveling to Rome as often as I can afford it. He may come now and then to visit me.

I'm sometimes messy or chaotic in my personal space, but am sensitive about keeping common spaces clean and will happy to be on a cleaning schedule. I clean in spurts and think better in an orderly environment. I prefer a peaceful and quiet home, but a few visitors now and then is fine. I smoke a bit but NEVER inside. I enjoy cooking for people, and in my last apartment liked to make everyone a communal meal now and then. I am LBTGQ friendly, very accepting and politically left-leaning.

I am looking for roommates who are kind, communicative, honest, and unafraid to voice their opinions, needs or concerns. Of course cleanliness is preferred, but a little daily clutter is expected. I can't deal with passive aggression, people who give the silent treatment when they are upset about something, or people who want to keep entirely to themselves all the time.

My idea home life would be peaceful, friendly, with occasional 'hanging out,' though we don't have to be best friends. I am social and need to feel at least some connection to those I share space with, though I also like doing my own thing and being in my own space.
